Welcome to what is sure to be another depressing week of box office predictions here at the Reject Report. Depressing because, well, we all know who’s going to win. Even if we all go see Saw V several times in a row, we won’t be able to halt the inevitable.

Well, it was a fairly predictable weekend at the theaters for a change, as I finally got a few of my predictions sort-of right.

The Magical Studio in the Sky is struck by a wayward comet, sending Kevin and Neil in different directions. But take heart, they manage to link up through the interwebs to form the Virtual Studio in the Sky.

Its not minimum Payne, its Maximum Payne. That is how director John Moore describes his latest film. Unfortunately, I’m not so sure that I agree.

Mark Wahlberg, who is certainly not your premier thespian (despite being an Oscar nominee), called Max Payne his most complex character to date. Coming from a guy who’s played a science teacher, astronaut, hit man, cop, cop, cop, and a long-donged porn star, that is saying something.
