Sundance Exclusive: Video Clip from ‘The Wackness’
Posted by Neil Miller (neil@filmschoolrejects.com) on January 22, 2008
One of my absolute favorite films of Sundance 2008 thus far is Jonathan Levine’s 1994-based teen drug comedy The Wackness. Levine and his cast (which includes Josh Peck, Olivia Thirlby, Ben Kingsley and Method Man) have delivered a brilliant film that feels a lot like it could be this year’s Juno. But that is just speculation. In order to help you understand a bit of the film’s awesomeness, I have hounded a publicist to the point of hooking me up with a 1 minute clip from the movie. Hopefully, it will make you want to go out and see the other 109 minutes of the film.
Check out the clip below. Also, read my review of the film here.

I love this clip and I can barely wait for this movie to hit theaters nearly everywhere. I wish this clip was a tiny bit longer. Why are there Drillbit Taylor trailers on You Tube, but there are no clips at all of The Wackness? I think the soundtrack of this movie will be great too.

thanks for putting the Full screen button on the bottom of the screen. I really appreciate you doing that. This clip should be put on You Tube. If it was,it would get a lot of hits. Trust me.

Josh Peck’s awesome as always. I just wish to see more of the casts such as Method Man. I know this movie is going to be fantastic. Can’t wait!

this is so weird seeing Josh talking about weed and looking like that! We’re so used to seeing him on Drake and Josh doing good things…
