I mean that in the sense that these characters don't seem to act the way you would expect them to act if this happened in real life.<br><br>For example, at the start of the pilot, the son struck me as a loner, skater, hates mainstream, kinda kid, from my experience, that type of kid wouldn't be wearing a lame ass uniform and signing up to hand out flyers on the Visitors, he'd be making fun of those people.<br><br>And the priest, his character started out well, contemplating the meaning of an alien race in the context of the religion he has devoted his life to. that storyline intrigued me and made sense, but at the end of the pilot and in episode 2, he kinda just acts like a normal guy would.<br><br>anyway, i had high hopes for this show, but 2 episodes in, im pretty disappointed, the dialogue blows and there is no suspense or mystery at all. i know this is going to sound stupid, but the problem with this show is that it isn't believable. There is still a lot of work, especially related to creating actual suspense. I also think so far all the characters seem rather flat.
