Not a big fan of this show, but just wondering if you ever saw the original mini-series movies? That had two half breeds in it. I don't want to give it away if you haven't seen and want to but it would give you maybe a gist of how and why.

It sort of makes sense. Just look over at Afghanistan – Military Invasion with far superior weaponry & technology, heavy death toll on the enemy but still unacceptable losses to the instigator, and it never bloody ends. The V's could just invade but it would be same, better to lull the humans into 'the gas chambers' and deal with the indigenous population in a more controlled manner.

I think ryan has said already that exposing the V's to earth will only hurt the resistance (and earth) — if they become known could turn against humans. Erica has already said that she believes they need humans for something — and I think that realization will be quite interesting and will set the stage for an even larger resistance and they will be able to use the V's weak points against them. i'm intrigued by what ana needs erica's son for. i forsee him as valuable to the resistance eventually — maybe he will learn more about the Vs and then figure out they are evil and bring the information to his mother. the more i watch this show the more i am excited by the possibilities. how the f did ryan's girlfriend get pregnant? they aren't the same species techinally? they can't possibly have children. or can they? i have no idea. this show is amazing.

Plus, if the resistance wanted to expose the V's for what they are, why don't they just skin the black guy, or one of their 5th Column members?

I'm sorely disappointed by this show, and won't be returning when it comes back. How can you make an alien invasion storyline boring? Give me Marc Singer any day of the week.

The ending is what has kind of turned me off the show. If they have that many ships and their technology is so vastly superior to the humans, why they don't they just come with their ships and blow the humans to smithereens? Why the advanced infilitrators? Why the Salvation ploy? Neither were needed to take over the planet if they have hundreds of space ships on their way that could easily take us out from space
