I haven't been as disappointed with this show as most people seem to be. I definitely agree that the pacing is off, and that ends up hurting the storytelling. But I actually like the story they are telling… just not the way they are telling it. Since you mentioned how dumb you think Mitchell's character is, I'm a bit surprised you didn't mention how dumb Father Jack has been. I'm surprised he hasn't flown up to the spaceship and told Anna everything he knows about the resistance.

You didn't mention Georgie and Father Jack storyline. That was by far way more interesting.
