This episode is not extraneous to the overall plot, which you narrowly define as defeating SkyNet. The Connors are fighting their own inner demons and subterfuge within the Resistance movement to accomplish that goal. The latest episode brings the latter element of the plot to a head.

This is one of the best shows on television, despite your lukewarm praise.

I'm glad that I wasn't the only person out there who delighted in seeing an end to that Riley chick and all her drama. Now if only we could get rid of BSG Sexpot, I'd be really happy. This week was definitely an improvement on the last while, it made me look forward to seeing the next episode instead of dreading it as a punishment!

My only problem was john not realizing riley is from the future. He should have killed her. The whole cameron bomb thing was kinda dumb, we all know he's not going to kill her.

Liked the ep. Think they need to start tying up the story lines.

BTW did anyone else cheer when riley took a round to the chest.

Man, I disagree with you about Derek, I love the character – although I do think they really need to come up with a plot for him. I thought BAG would be horrible when he was announced, and yet, he's the one guy I actually do enjoy on the show (apart from Cameron).

I just wish they didn't go with this long, drawn out Riley narrative, when their weekly adventures aren't cutting it – especially when they had a longer weekly narrative of Sarah's issues lately.

I mean, couldn't they just be infiltrating government labs, or geek think tanks, or someone who provides a great hazard for them more than just having the separate Weaver and Connors stories? I want to start to see some awareness of each other – something that provides some danger between each group.

For some reason I think that the ep they find out about Weaver et al, is the ep that Weaver is done, and it's going to be wrapped up too tidy this season.

whats was the deal with derek sitting in the bushes just to watch his target drive by? i dont think he has to be killed off though. this series needs way more action if its to be renewed.
