I was watching first two seasons breathlessly. I haven't seen something so interesting for a while. I couldn't wait for a next episode. But when the third season started I was so disappointing. I couldn't believe that they can make such a big turn to worse. Pity.

I have a theory about Angela Petrelli and the revealing of her "third son." While it could be true that Gabriel is actually her son, it could also be possible that she is using some sort of "Jedi-mind tricks" on him. This is evidenced when Matt was trying to read her mind and she was able to talk back to him. So it is highly possible that Sylar is not a biological son, but something Angela made him think in order to get him to work for their side with Noah Bennett.

For all those who say "theres to many plot holes", " aaah theres so much going on i cant keep track" or " i dont like so and so, therefore i wont be watching anymore", can i ponit out a couple of things.

First rewatch season one, the full plot took a long time to develop and that was the beauty of it. so while it may not make complete sense now in three or four months we will look back and think "so thats what that was about, the way it all links is genius".

Secondly who wants a show where the whole plot is revealed right away, why watch the second, third, fourth ..etc episodes if you know whats going to happen.

the next point i want to raise is that there may be a lot going on but if you lack the mental capacity to keep track heroes isnt your kind of show so go back to watching dancing with the stars.

also there are a number of characters so everyone has someone to identify with so while you slate on character and refuse to watch because they are on the show remember there are plenty of people who dont like your favourite.

finaaly i would like to say it is far to early to judge this season so watch on and if come the end you still dont like it then will be the time to criticise. by then maybe you can formulate a better argument against the show

Thats a good theory Steven.
I have a theory too - it could be that the attempt by Mohinder to "cure" Niki Sanders actually just changed her power ( didn't he just say he had it all wrong ). So she had ice powers but she didn't know. And then in the burning building, her adrenaline kicked in and she got out. And then got hit in the head or something or some memory related crap. I mean the Hatian could do it. Or another character with memory manipulation.
------
They are screwing the show up a little by bringing everyone back to life though. Is this Heroes or Dragonball Z ?
------
So Angela Petrelli is Sylar's real mom. A good kick in the head. But seriously, why is everyone somehow related to the Petrellis. Sleep with them, have kids, have affairs, etc. Is the family THAT great ?
------
So Sylar has Claire's power too now. Good job there you psycho. Now explain to me, how the **** can you survive a bloody stab to the stomach by a Katana ? Ok, that fat one helped him with that. But then didn't Claire stab him in the ****ing heart ? How did he survive that ? And if he can flip trucks with telekinesis, what was stopping him from tearing down the closet in which Claire was hiding. Was he weak ? If yes, then that stab to the heart should have killed him.
------
OK Claire's immortal. And in his words, Sylar can't kill her even if he wanted to. How, then, did he manage to kill her in the alternate future from season one when he was the president - disguised as Nathan.

Mohinder is basically like Beast from X-Men now, except he's not blue and hairy. But Mohinder is changing now because of it, so maybe...................

I think that the idea that Tracy is Nikki's, lost sister is a good one, but I thought it'd be sweet if somehow Tracy is another alter-ego of Nikki's, and each ego has a different power. Jessica has super strength, and Tracy has ice powers. That would also explain how Nikki escaped the house explosion because she prolly just turned into Tracy and put out enough of the fire to get out.

I'm actually quite surprised you enjoy Kristen Bell's parts in the show. Go back and watch the interaction between the gold-maker and the shock-jock toward the beginning of the episode, and I think you'll notice she's just a bit out of character at all times. I don't know; I just haven't seen a chemistry between the two at any part over the series, and I'm kind of glad that they're sending her out of the way (though I wonder if that's another nod toward a villain).

I'm excited about the potential of this season as we'll get a good look at who the real villians in this story are & YES-Maya is ssssmmmmmmmmmmmoookin! As for the plots twists and the nonsensable story lines...it's called willing suspension of disbelief people-try using it as this is not real life. Some of the things going on don't make sense like Mirror Girl's sudden name change and power upgrade?...But ultimately I think this season has alot of potential to take us somewhere special as the efforts and destinies are tied into Mohinder's discovery, this formula that Hiro should not have opened, & the whole end of the world scenario that Hiro saw when Ando killed him with a HA-RU-GEN Street Fighter/Dragonball-Z energy blast. The end of the 2nd episode was totally a mindmash as we learned the identity of Syler's real mother & were also left w/the question of whether or not Clair's (real)Mom will become her sifu or not...so, I am excited for next Monday night!

The whole point of serialised episodes, sit-coms etc., is that the participants are somehow trapped in events and each week the overall story continues with a new challenge / ongoing challenge / resolution etc.

The problem with Heroes is that it used it all up in episode 1.

There are so many plot holes now that viewer immersion is continually interupted. Remember series 1, 'save the cheerleader - save the world'... That whole plot is now gone as syler got her anyway. Peter is invulnerable and every time he fails to use an obvious ability you are required to suspend any small amount of thought process to move on with the given scenario.

Am watching as certain elements are still fun (and Maya was super smoking hot in that little gettup she had on for the first episode - Ali Larter scrubbed up nice too). Will see how it goes, 60% as interested as I was with Season 1.

Heroes has become garbage. Not only do we have no redeeming characters anymore other than Parkman, but there is no cohesive story. After the show I looked at my wife and laughed about how stupid the show has become. I'm going to give them one more episode and they better present something amazing or I'm not going to waste another minute of my time. Ridiculous characters who seem to have completely changed personalities without batting an eye, characters who never die (who HASN'T magically come back to life so far?) and absolutely NOTHING or anyone to care about anymore. How is that a good start to a season?

Sorry guys but I cant get into the show anymore. The best thing about season 1 was this whole idea of good vs. evil and that no matter what evil does the good will always prevail. Season 2 was just a mess and I think if theyre going to make season 3 about villains it has to be very well wrote and I dont think Heroes is capable of that. Besides, theres WAY too much good stuff on cable right now :)
