You do make a good point about Sylar's new power of shapeshifting into anybody. That will be a very, very dangerous power moving forward. Also, now everyone knows about it so perhaps they will do some sort of test to figure it out. Too bad we get these heroes with these cool powers that never come back in later episodes. Also, which five heroes were that supposed to be when they were in 1961. I was about to say there is no way an African American boy can dance with a white girl in public in 1962 when they cook stopped them right in their tracks … That was interesting to say the least. I like the story we learned from the episode. Let's hope they continue to move forward with this stronger writing.

Seaghan,
I agree with the others about this being a very good and revealing episode. The graves were covered up by the storm at the end, and the reason for digging was to see if her sisters remains were there. When she is found to be still alive, and hiding in the desert for 50 years, you have to understand peope CAN and are tramatized into reclusiveness by a single violent episode in childhood. It was her outburst that was partly to blame for the death of her own parents. Her sisters dreams were seen to be true before, so why shouldn't she believe her sisters lie that she would be alright if she stayed put?
As she grew used to isolation she would most probably prefer it, especially if she thought she was dangerous to others. I am willing to suspend disbelief on this aspect. I also like the suspense of Silars shapeshifting into Nathans identity…it is a GREAT series! Way to go, Heroe's writing staff! And the acting is getting better too. I do care about all the regulars and look forward to the new characters development as well.

The reason they were digging the graves is because Angela said she thought she had to see her sister. She THOUGHT her sister was among the dead bodies…that was an "oops" on her part. And actually, I much prefer Claire's hair now and the less makeup. Darn tootin' about this being better than any of last fall: slowing down is far preferable to any more "formulas."

Yeah, but they stopped digging to tell the story, not because they found anything that would suggest she wasn't buried there. And then afterward they made no mention of the graves again. No scene of them filling it back in.
Personally, I'd be really pissed if someone made me dig up a grave for what turned out to be no reason. And I'd feel terrible if I didn't set those bones back to rest.

I usually never notice a characters hair and makeup but what's up with Claire's hair? Anyone agree? This episode was still better than any of last seasons. Still being way to preachy though.

I liked the episode. They were digging up bodies because Angela wanted to see her sister’s body if she was dead. What I want to see is if the Pertrelli’s and H.R.G. are going to try and form a new Company. She started one when the government started rounding people up once so why not do it again?

Really? I found this episode to be wholly unnecessary. By the end we are right back at square one. Where is this show going? Does anyone know?
What was with the digging up of the skeletons? Angela basically forces everyone to dig so she can show them this great revelation, but then Peter is all like
"Mom, just tell me."
And then its all shitty flashback time and no one cares that they just spent hours desecrating these graves for no reason.
How retarded would a person actually have to be to stay in a desert for 50 years because their sister told them they would be safe there? Are we really meant to care for someone that stupid?
