I actually enjoyed Jack and Tess's relationship, as short as it was…and I hope it continues…although I just saw Jaime Ray Newman (the actress who plays Tess) in a commercial for a prime-time show on one of the “biggie” networks. I think it was “Eastwick” (confirmed by a quick IMDB search). There is no real reason for Jack to not pursue her further (they'll always be able to bring her back to GD for something). With Zoe gone, and Jo preoccupied with Zane (and Allison being Allison), I think Tess SHOULD hang around. It won't detract from anything plot-wise…and might even add a little something…

I wasn't really into this half season of Eureka. I'm not sure if the long break between season halves caused a lack of interest or if something else was there.
