I agree only with the believability meter comment... I loved the character stuff in this
one, it was nuanced but notable-

Vince's low status is reinforced by Ari's handling of E. Usually what veers into playful
chest bumping between E and Ari actually became harsh. It told us about three
characters' status- Ari is, as always a true pro and it finally seems plausible that he
could dump Vince; Vince is just starting to learn the game, the teen swagger is gone, he
knows he could lose everything; E is floundering and doesn't have Vince's status to keep
him afloat, and he knows it. The hurdles are real now. I loved the episode. It was as if the
show started to grow up a little, too.

"...Ari telling him he’s not that great of an actor… yet. Probably the most serious words
these two have spoken since the series began..." Perfect example of why I loved this
episode- I was finally watching a little drama unfold, instead of the constant stream of
fantastic luck, coincidence, faux-peril...

Really dug it. I hope they keep it up. It's rare that I think about these episodes after I
watch, but the E-Vince-Ari stuff in this one stayed with me.
