She is a little over earnest at times but I think she's a good character.

Yes, Josh - I was wondering where you were. Gonna have to send you another email. ;-) So ... good points. The whole president's daughter part is kind of tired. I DO think she is in "bed" with other people besides this beat reporter. Time will tell. As far as Jack and his disease, I like it too. Somehow, he will heal enough to race off to save the world but now you (and I) can see how the plot will morph so that Kim Bauer will appear. I say Renee makes a secret phone call and Kim Bauer shows up and an emotional moment (like the one season when Jack calls her and tells her he has to crash the helicopter with the nuclear bomb in it only to be saved by the other federal agent who sacrificed himself) ... I digress, but that was some of Kim's better acting in the series... Anyways, it does look a little tight on Tony to be stuck in that compound with no help and limited intel. Don't forget that Chloe should return to us in 3 more episodes I believe (she left midway though the show for six episodes to have her baby in real life),so that should add some elements to it later in the season. This was a "slower" episode but they went so fast for so long that they need a little filler. And Jon Voight is a bad man and doing pretty well. Not perfect, but well enough. Let's see how cold he gets. Remember Dennis Hopper was amazing in Season 1 so he set the bar incredibly high. As we get closer to sweeps weeks, the pace should pick up again. Is it me or is Jack's doctor at FBI HQ just a fine, pretty woman. Who is she?? Looking forward to next week. Don't leave us too long again Josh.
