Television By Cole Abaius on June 10, 2009 | (14) Comments
The puny and gullible citizens of Earth were shocked today by the news that one of their favorite television shows would be making new episodes.
Yes, yes and yes. Finally after crushing the market on DVD sales and having a solid run in syndication over at Comedy Central, “Futurama” will be returning to the place that birthed it – Fox. Matt Groening and David X. Cohen will be busy creating 26 new episodes for Fox after going off the air six years ago.
According to Comingsoon.net, the episodes will first be shown on Comedy Central starting in mid 2010 with Fox retaining broadcast rights.
This is fantastic, incredible, awesome news that can only inevitably lead to my personal dream of their being a spin-off show for Dr. Zoidberg.
How do you plan on celebrating?
