The bad blood between Don and Roger has been a long time coming. Leaving Mona for a twenty year old secretary, rolling over and giving Sterling Coo to the British, there's a lot to it really. And Betty wasn't talking about Don when she said that thing about getting what you want when you want it, she was talking about Gene and Condrad. And to be honest, I thought the scene between Don and Connie was pitch perfect. Don finally getting some kind of approval from this latest surrogate father really felt genuine. And his disappointment at with the Hilton pitch really lead into his night with Ms.Farrell, seeking some sort of validation. Sal is really just a peripheral character, it makes sense that his stories center on one very major conflict. Didn't you notice that it took two seasons to get his name in the opening credits sequence?

Everything seems to be burning all around Don and all he can do is runaway to another woman. Obviously what Don did to Sal was wrong on a human level, but I wonder if Hilton had not pushed him so much in the episode if he would have attempted at least to save Sal. Full review of the episode.

http://th3tvobsessed.blogspot.com/2009/10/revie...

That is the only thing about Sal that is interesting, you want to watch him work or watch him watch tv, because that is pretty sure that is what he does when he is not being hit on by men. There are so many other characters that could be used more, Paul, Harry, and Ken are not used enough and Joan why not use her more. The show has been so house central lately, it's to the point where it is not that interesting, they're fucking around I get it. Don and the teacher was a lot more interesting when don was telling her to back off or saying he wasn't going to do thing with her. Betty pulls away after all that, what really? Conrad Hilton was kind of a crazy person. So the scene seemed to feel right.
