For six seasons, Jorge Garcia and his character Hurley have been the voice of the audience on Lost. Too often, Hurley is the guy pointing out the obvious things that we, the audience, can see that many of the show’s characters cannot. He can also talk to dead people which, like, makes him really special, dude.

With the show’s final episodes upon us, Jezebel has cut together a four-minute montage of the times in which Hurley has unleashed his phrase of phrases, “dude.” If teamed with Jeff Bridges, this character might in fact bring about a rift in the time-space continuum that would destroy the fabric of everything we know to be true. Quantum mechanics aside, it is quite humorous to see all the variations of “dude.”
