Katee Sackhoff Lost by BSG, Found by NBC

Katee Sackhoff

Poor Katee Sackhoff. Her attempt at getting a defining role outside of Starbuck in the soon-to-be-ended Battlestar Galactica last year failed miserably with cancellation after only 8 episodes of the planned 13. Not that Bionic Woman was anything remotely resembling the quality viewing you get watching BSG, but with that show about to end, it’s important for a girl to make sure she knows where the next pay cheque’s coming from. Signing onto Nip/Tuck as a guest star for season 6 doesn’t exactly guarantee you security, after all the guest stars on that show have the shelf life of a dairy product.

So, like any sensible woman, Katee has branched out and gotten herself on an NBC-based cash cow named Lost & Found. Produced by Dick Wolf, the brains behind Law & Order, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and the upcoming Law & Order: London (which has a special WTF? feeling all of its own), Lost & Found focuses on a young female cop in the L.A.P.D. who gets demoted to dealing with John/Jane Doe cases. Wonder if she finds special meaning in it too. Who cares, as long as she gets to say “frack” a lot, it’s all good for me.

  • SACKOFF!!!! I like to yell that, it is my personal KHAN!!!! Bionic Woman was flat, flat all the way around. I watched one episode, but if I was forced at gunpoint to related it in synopsis, I would like to request that my headstone be made of limestone. Maybe the lead wasn't compelling, maybe there should have been more Bigfoot fights, I don't know, but Sackoff being a crazy super soldier with kissable lips and a rack I would love it get my hands on, damn she is hot...wait...what was I saying? Six Million Dollar Man would have been a safer bet, red tracksuit and all. SciFi Channel is a weird place lately, I'm not sure what their priorities are. Stargate is gone, Atlantis to follow, being replaced by a Voyager retread, and trying to pass off a crappy teen drama as Flash Gordon, its like they hate their own channel and want it banished to the deepest hinterlands of cable.
