Trailer: Christina Ricci and James McAvoy in Penelope

Posted by Neil Miller (neil@filmschoolrejects.com) on December 15, 2007

Penelope is one of those movies that just keeps sneaking up on us for some reason. Originally intended for a 2006 release, it may actually find its way into theaters on February 29, 2008. The film stars Christina Ricci as a girl born with a pig nose, and her fairy-tail story of trying to find a man who will love her for who she really is. James McAvoy and Reese Witherspoon co-star.

Take a look at the trailer below, and be sure to let us know what you think.

looks interesting enough to pay full price for. im only worried about how long it is, it looks like a movie that needs to be like 70 - 90 minutes long.

It looks alright, but the nose doesn’t look real enough.
