Semi-Pro Redband Trailer, New Poster Released

Personally, I am afraid that one day the comedic style of Will Ferrell will no longer have an effect on the masses. Thankfully, that has not happened yet. And until then, at least, Ferrell and Co. continue to deliver the laughs. This time around they will take on the world of 1970s semi-professional basketball. Ferrell stars as Jackie Moon, the owner/coach/star of the Flint Tropics. Yes, that is Flint, Michigan — nothing “tropical” about it. Moon is flanked by his loyal teammates Clarence (Andre Benjamin) and Monix (Woody Harrelson). The film also stars David Koechner, Will Arnett, Maura Tierney and Jackie Earle Haley.
Get an in-your-face look at the guys who will be “Putting the Funk in the Dunk” below with the newly released redband movie trailer. Semi-Pro is due out February 29, 2008.

This was HILARIOUS! Hahaha… I’m still laughing thinking about it. I didn’t like Blades of Glory from this year much, but this looks like a much more dirtier, raunchy, and R-rated version of that movie with some Anchorman twists. I can’t wait!! Hopefully this is as great s it looks so far!
