So YES, the anime is a definite tip of the hat to Pixar/Disney/The Incredibles but who the heck cares?! As long as the movie is an original and funny take on the old B/Monster movies of the 50's-70's then I'll be more than happy with that. Besides, copying is supposed to be a form of flattery and in the day & age of blatantly non-original movie concepts & wack-a$$ relaunches/reboots/remakes *PUKE*, I'll take this bite and run with it! It might be a touch more polished, though, since we've come a few years down the line in tech. But I will admit to almost writing Pixar instead of Dreamworks. Imitation and flattery right??
