Must See Trailer: Michael Clayton
Movie Trailers By Neil Miller on September 19, 2007 | (4) CommentsOver the past week or so we have been hearing about all of the films that have garnered all of the buzz coming out of the Toronto Film Festival. And one particular that seems to be standing out is George Clooney’s latest project, Michael Clayton. In the film Clooney plays a “fixer” for one of New York’s largest corporate law firms, in that he is the guy who does all the dirty work for the firm’s co-founder (Sydney Pollack). So when a senior litigator (Tom Wilkinson) goes off the depend in an attempt to sabotage a huge case, Clayton is called in. It turns out, as can be expected, that there is a little more to it than he originally thought.
The film looks very solid, something along the lines of The Rainmaker, only with Danny Ocean doing all the sneaky stuff. Clooney seems to be on a roll lately, leaving behind movies like Intolerable Cruelty to do politically charged flicks like Good Night and Good Luck and Syriana. And that’s ok by me, as long as he never even thinks about playing Batman again. Take a look at the trailer for Michael Clayton below.
Michael Clayton will be in theaters on October 12.
