boob-header

A tradition was started long ago (Sundance 2009 to be precise) of film festivals premiering horror shorts about normally innocuous objects turning deadly.  This past January saw Treevenge unleash it’s pine-needled terror upon on an unsuspecting, Christmas loving populace, but now a new short is set to premiere at SXSW.  The trailer is below (courtesy of Twitch), but beware, it’s almost guaranteed to curdle your blood and make you cry for your mommy.

Udderly terrifying isn’t it?  Obviously it’s being played tongue in cheek, and I’m not entirely sure how a boob can kill (aside from possibly suffocation or drowning) but there seems to be a fair amount of blood on display here.  Boob was created by Honest, a commercial production house based in NYC.  The entire two and a half minute film will be showing at SXSW next month.

Will the inevitable sequel be called Boobs?
