Joss Whedon Endorses Mitt Romney and the Zombie Apocalypse
Movie News By Neil Miller on October 29, 2012 | Comments (2)Hurricane Sandy may be en route to obliterating our friends on the East Coast, the western area of the country remains unaffected. But that doesn’t mean that we’re not still focused on impending doom. All the way out in Hollywood, The Avengers director Joss Whedon has publicly announced his endorsement in the Presidential Election. We don’t usually get very political around here, but we’ve got to admit that following the man who directed The Avengers sounds like a reasonable thing to do. He hasn’t let us down yet…
Weekly DVD Drinking Game: ‘The Walking Dead’
Drinking Games By Kevin Carr on March 9, 2011 | Comments (1)Zombie fans have been celebrating ever since it was announced that Frank Darabont was developing the graphic novel The Walking Dead into a television series. Some folks questioned the choice of AMC as the right network, but the bet paid off when The Walking Dead premiered last year. It’s the first television series about the zombie apocalypse, and it’s gotten some great reviews. Now, all six episodes of the first season are available on DVD and Blu-ray, and what better way to enjoy them than with a drink in your hand. Because, let’s face it, in the event of the zombie apocalypse, you’ll want plenty of alcohol available to take the edge off.
