Earlier this week, fans of The Dark Knight ran around their cities in search of a trailer. What they didn’t know is that one of them got two versions.

While we will certainly keep an eye on things for you, we wouldn’t want to get your hopes up regarding a high resolution version of this trailer any time soon. We did, however, come across this bootleg.

It seems that every time I start to get extremely excited about another movie, such as Iron Man, something from The Dark Knight pops up to remind me that this is going to be the definitive film of Summer 2008.

I will admit that it is pretty damn hard to keep up with all of this viral marketing for The Dark Knight. There have been bus tours, questions of seriousness and even some cakes with cell phones baked into cakes. Now, we get a Clown Travel Agency.

As promised over a week ago, Paramount has released a new widget to help promote the upcoming film Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. This widget is said to being untold powers to all who have it on their MySpace and Facebook profile pages, as well as bring them entry into a sweepstakes.

Clowns came out to protest a recent stop on the tour of the Harvey Dentmobile, the campaign for Harvey Dent to take back Gotham. With their signs of “Change We Can’t Believe In” and “Your Future, Decided with a Coin Flip”, they are eerily reminiscent of our own, real world politics.

Countless Americans and Harvey Dent believers should have received an update this afternoon from the fictional politician himself.
