Despite their on-again, off-again routine of media spats, Michael Bay still has a thing for actress Megan Fox. Which means that her Transformers character Mikaela Banes will be surviving on into the next film, Transformers 3.

Judging by their output for Star Trek, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and The Proposal all in one summer, it seems like screenwriters Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman don’t sleep. And they won’t get to anytime soon. We caught them not napping in order to ask them about writing for Michael Bay and their upcoming Cowboys and Aliens.

Earlier today we reported that Warner Bros. and Halcyon are already developing a fifth Terminator movie even before the fourth film is in theaters. And now we’ve got a report from Dark Horizons that a German release calendar has listed Transformers 3 with a June 29, 2011 release date.
