Disney is laying a lot on the line with A Christmas Carol, Alice in Wonderland, and Tron. But they seemed to impress the geeks in attendance.

Disney apparently didn’t want to pay for a numeral 2 in their title, so they’ve streamlined and bought a few more vowels. Will Tron: Legacy make a lasting impression?

You know how the site has been down for the past hour? We’re blaming Tron 2 and their awesome viral campaign.

Go ahead and smack me. Call me a tool or whatever. Until today, I could have given two monkey queefs about Tron 2.0. But, the latest news on this almost-three-decades-too-late Disney sequel has me ready to give up them queefs.

Anyone who was at or around last year’s San Diego Comic-Con knows that the test footage of Tron 2 that was shown was the talk of the town. And it appears as if Disney intends to do something similar this coming year.

No word yet on why Garrett Hedlund’s up or coming.

The Fox Network’s resident bisexual, Olivia Wilde (“House,” “The OC”) has joined Disney’s sequel to the 1982 original Tron.

The folks at the Internet Movie Database, our one and only source of facts about film (we also farm our opinions from the message boards, mind you), have released the list of the Top 25 Most Searched Movies of 2008. Topping the list is… drum roll… The Dark Knight. No surprise there.

t took me coming home from Comic-Con and finding a package containing a “More Giant F**king Robots are Coming” T-shirt to remind me that I hadn’t once mentioned the production of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen while I was in San Diego. Shame on me, I suppose.
