Why Watch? You might be thinking, “A parody video pivoting off the popularity of a big television hit? Why bother?” but then you might have also started the video before reading this. If it’s the latter, then you don’t care because you’re already humming along and enjoying the high level dedication to capturing the look of The Walking Dead while adding in some much-needed Bob Fosse. The camera work and saturation are spot on, and so is the intensity, but it’s the joyous swing into absurdity that really makes this one stand out. AV Byte has done something magical here, capturing the core elements of the AMC show and stuffing them into a different genre sack while whistling a merry tune. The only problem: you might be stuck singing that damned merry tune all day. It’s also a challenge/example for others trying to make videos like this out there.
