I really don’t have too much to say this week at the Reject Report, other than the fact that District 9 cleaned up, as predicted, at the box office, toppling G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra.

Neil is whisked away for an “emergency” surgery in the Netherlands, so Kevin welcomes guest host Emily McFadden. Together, they take a trip to District 9 and galavant with The Time Traveler’s Wife. Kevin and Emily also talk Bandslam and Vanessa Hudgens in pictures.

The big question this week concerns the box office fortunes of G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra… which might end up being referred to as the Fall of the Cobra by the end of the weekend.

We hate being manipulated and manipulation is all ‘The Time Traveler’s Wife’ has to offer.

The summer’s almost over, and so far it’s been an incredibly mixed bag movie-wise.

If we were Eric Bana — which we wish we were — we would bounce around through time and always make our way back to Rachel McAdams, too.
