Tropic Thunder ended up hanging on to first place with a $16 million haul. That was not a surprise. What was surprising, though, was how strongly The House Bunny did.

This weekend promises to be a real death race at the box office. That’s the name of the movie, too: Death Race. Also, The Rocker rolls out, and so does The House Bunny starring funnygal Anna Faris. All that and more this weekend at the Report.

With so many weak comedy vehicles coming out nowadays, it’s no wonder I expected Rainn Wilson’s first solo starring role in The Rocker to suck. That’s where I was surprised.

Lets get this out of the way — I absolutely love anything that Rainn Wilson does. So when I say that you must watch this trailer for his new movie The Rocker, I absolutely mean it.
