A few new shots from The Lovely Bones gives us a taste for our eyeballs of the look that Peter Jackson is going for.

As someone who is currently wrapped up in reading Alice Sebold’s fantastic book “The Lovely Bones,” it excites me to know end that Peter Jackson’s film adaptation is on its way. And now we have two first look photos from the film.

If you ask anyone in the film industry, the year doesn’t begin until we’ve properly dictated to you our most anticipated movies of the next 12 months. Seriously, ask anyone. They will tell you that anticipation cannot exist without a road map. And said map must be provided by the staff here at FSR. It’s science.

The Lovely Bones sure is getting a lot of press attention these days, and it really isn’t lovely coverage at all.

It appears that paradise may be a little too subjective, for according to /film, Peter Jackson and his art directors appear to be having a lovers’ quarrel over how best to depict that very setting, leading to a stalled production and an extended coffee break.

Either his gut was too big or he was too big of an ass, but Ryan Gosling has been dropped from Peter Jackson’s forthcoming adaptation of Alice Sebold’s The Lovely Bones.
