A stumbling block for myself as a big, fat American who doesn’t understand all the nuances of Middle Eastern politics is that the movie was often hard to follow.

As Jeff Wells points out in the blog post introducing the poster to the right, it is hard to say whether or not this is an approved one-sheet for Kathryn Bigelow’s Iraq War drama The Hurt Locker, but it certainly gets its point across.

This is still, in my opinion, the best action film of the year. It’s an intense, riveting cinematic experience I won’t soon forget.
