Can I get a warranty before Hulk smashes my Blu-Ray player with over an hour of extra footage? Maybe Captain America can just lend me some of his signing bonus to buy a new one.

The Official Guide to The Hulk

Norton, and this new Hulk film should successfully help eradicate any memory of Bruce Bana, Crazy ole’ Nick Nolte and Ang Lee’s gamma poodles. So I began to think to myself, ‘If not Edward Norton, who else could possibly fill Hulk’s huge purple pants?’ , and thus I came up with this fun list for Hulk couldabeens.

The Incredible Hulk

Let’s face it, we might like him better when he’s angry. And by he, I am obviously referring to The Incredible Hulk, the big green Edward Norton-lookin’ dude who is going to make his subtly triumphant return to the big screen on June 13th. It is a return that has, up until very recently, come with very little publicity, as director Louis Leterrier’s film has had to live in the shadow of Jon Favreau’s Iron Man. But at this point it is Iron Man that should be giving us hope for The Incredible Hulk, as it proved Marvel’s competence as a studio. Should Hulk follow suit and surprise us all, it will only enhance the excitement around upcoming projects like Thor and The First Avenger: Captain America. For now, all the legions of Marvel fans can do is sit back, fingers crossed, and wait until June 13th. Oh, and they can enjoy this new trailer, which is running in theaters this week in front of Speed Racer (which no one saw, so its probably new to most people): [flv:http://media.filmschoolrejects.com/trailers/incrediblehulk-trailer3.flv 520 390] The Incredible Hulk is directed by Louis Leterrier, who previously brought us the Transporter series. It was written by X-Men scribe Zak Penn with help from star Edward Norton. Liv Tyler, Tim Roth and William Hurt also star. Look for it in theaters on June 13th.
