Remember how fresh and scary The Descent was? It looks like the people who made the trailer for The Descent 2 forgot.

Yes, I screamed like a little girl during the first Descent, but can the sequel live up to the hype?

Announced a few months ago, the sequel is currently in production, and the first on-set photo is on display over at Fangoria. It shows one of the cave dwelling bat boys. Yawn.

I’ll admit that the girlish (yet manly) scream you heard when Descent hit theaters was probably me. I had the pleasure of seeing it at Butt-Numb-a-Thon 7 in the company of the ideal movie-going audience, and even they were surprised by how high-pitched I could be.
