I predicted it would be a Comeback Week for predictions at The Reject Report, and guess what? The number one movie of the week, 30 Days of Night, I nailed bang-on. The number two movie, Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married, I also nailed bang on. So it was a great week predicting the top movies. There’s just one problem: I got everything else wrong. Again.

Does it surprise anyone in America that a film like The Comebacks sucks? After all, it’s a Fox Atomic release, a genre studio arm for 20th Century Fox that, with the exception of 28 Weeks Later, doesn’t have a great track record. Add to this the fact that they didn’t screen this movie for anyone, and I mean anyone.

Just in case you didn’t think that this weekend’s release The Comebacks was bad enough, here is another bad idea to keep your Netflix queue full of crappy flicks. Writer/Director Jason Friedberg (one of the 6 writers of each of the Scary Movie installments as well as the guy who helmed Epic Movie) is directing Meet the Spartans…
