It is now Monday afternoon, time to wrap up our coverage of last night’s Superbowl advertising extravaganza. With an unprecedented amount of movie-related ads, this year’s Superbowl left the heads of many cinejournos spinning well into the late evening hours.

For those of you who missed last night’s Superbowl, let me start by saying that you missed one hell of a game. Secondly, you missed some pretty great commercials wedged uncomfortably between obviously desperate promos for NBC’s Heroes.

The fine gentlemen over at Trailer Addict have found the TV spot for Star Trek that will be airing tomorrow during the Superbowl. This comes on the heels of a bunch of other Superbowl TV spots

The other day we brought you the 2D version of SoBe Lifewater’s Superbowl commercial, which features characters from the upcoming Dreamworks Animation feature Monsters vs. Aliens. And today they have released the 3D version of the trailer online for all to see — or at least those of us nerdy enough to have a pair of 3D glasses laying around the house.

In addition to a 3D episode of Chuck the week following the Superbowl, NBC will also play home to a very special 3D commercial for the Dreamworks Animation release Monsters vs. Aliens. It’s a pretty cool idea, if they can pull it off.
