David Ayer is back and still busy telling us how corrupt the cops of the Los Angeles Police Department are in this Keanu Reeves cop drama.

No, we didn’t completely get it wrong. We did correctly predict that the teen horror remake Prom Night would win at the box office, and, well, we were right.

Street Kings tries so hard to be a hard-core, serious cop drama. However, with the wooden acting and alarmingly un-thuggish nature of Keanu – and the even less thuggish nature of Cedric the Entertainer – it becomes a powder-keg of silliness.

Duuuuude… It’s Keanuuuuuuu… And he’s playing a dirty cop who drinks vodka from those cute little airline bottles. Don’t we all want to be like Keanu?

Neil and Kevin break out the corsages and tuxedos to get ready for their big Prom Night. Neil admits to wanting to make out with both Keanu Reeves and Michael Bay while Kevin prepares to defend Uwe Boll. It’s a mess of springtime shenanigans with the Fat Guys at the movies.

I am happy to report that this week’s hottie is someone that will not only have you saying, “Who’s that hottie?”, she will also have you channelling your inner latino and saying, “Ay, mama cita.”

Welcome to another truly ominous Reject Report. Ominous because, well, it’s looking scary at the box office this weekend. Not only do we have the horror movie Prom Night set to open along with the shoot-em-up Street Kings, but it looks like it will be another down week at the theaters.
