As I type up this week’s Blu-ray bonanza, I have a clear view of a beautiful mountain range that surrounds Park City, Utah. But I can’t let that distract me. Eyes on the prize.

Sure, the title of the direct-to-DVD follow-up to Joe Carnahan’s wicked violent Smokin’ Aces isn’t Electric Bugaloo, but I happen to like it better than Smokin’ Aces 2: Assassin’s Ball.

With enough on his plate, Joe Carnahan has confirmed that he’s working on a prequel to Smokin’ Aces giving us all a reason to strap on a bullet-proof vest.
