Another week, another fine selection here at the now-teetering-on-monthly Blu-ray Report. This week we get hit with some Role Models, some old school Batman, a gay rights activist and Cartman, all in HD.

I’ve been pretty vocal in my resistance to anything from Judd Apatow or starring Jonah Hill, so when I got a chance to see a comedy that neither had any involvement in, I jumped at the chance. That film was Role Models and is one of the five best comedies of 2008.

This past weekend we slipped into the month of November. And while the month begins with the fury of election season, it will undoubtedly finish with the start of the holiday movie season.

Role Models is one of the few winter comedies that I’ve been hearing good things about, and rightfully so. And to illustrate my point, I would like to present a few red band clips.
