2010 MTV Movie Awards: Hey, At Least Ken Jeong Was There
Movie News By Neil Miller on June 7, 2010 | Comments (1)As I mentioned last night when I wrote about the new Scott Pilgrim vs. the World clip, I didn’t watch a moment of the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. However, I am told that a few interesting and fun things happened. Tom Cruise out-dressed Jennifer Lopez, Twilight out-awarded its Summit Entertainment cousin The Hurt Locker, and the always funny Ken Jeong out-dressed both Katy Perry and Christina Aguilera. Not bad for the movie world equivalent of the Special Olympics.
Les Grossman Has Advice for Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner
Television By Neil Miller on June 2, 2010 | Comments (3)This Les Grossman stuff never gets old. This time he — and by he, I mean Tom Cruise’s most hilarious character to date — is giving style tips to Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.

Twilight: Eclipse Trailer Might Just Be Awesome
Movie News By Neil Miller on April 23, 2010 | Comments (9)I never — not in a million, gazillion years — thought I would type the above headline. But here we are. Record this date into history. I have been impressed by a trailer for a Twilight movie.
Five Actors Better Fit to Play Kurt Cobain Than Robert Pattinson
Features By Dustin Hucks on April 10, 2010 | Comments (93)Whomever plays Kurt Cobain, has to be Kurt Cobain. Some actors can get away with a less than passing resemblance with the strength of their performance, but Robert Pattinson is not him. However, here are five actors who might be able to do it…
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse Theatrical Poster: Choices, Choices…
Movie News By Neil Miller on March 23, 2010 | Comments (22)It all begins with a choice, says the poster for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. I’m certain that for some of you — many of our regular readers — that means the choice to completely ignore and avoid Twilight like the plague. And for good reason, there isn’t much in these movies for those who have not already been indoctrinated into the cult of Twilight. Yet for those who are, this concept of “choice” means a lot.

Some sound gremlins invade the Magical Studio in the Sky as Neil prepares for drinking and partying at SXSW. Neil is also recovering from a bout with food poisoning while Kevin is recovering from seeing Robert Pattinson’s Remember Me (and Kevin insists he suffered more).
Twilight: Eclipse Trailer: The Fight is Still Coming, Seriously
Movie News By Neil Miller on March 11, 2010 | Comments (19)Today, we see the first trailer for Twilight: Eclipse, and it’s mostly just fan service. All of those broody teen superhumans (and unhumans) talking about how much they will fight, if the fight happens. It’s all very romantic, I suppose.
Here’s Ten Seconds of Twilight: Eclipse; Please Contain Yourselves
Movie News By Neil Miller on March 10, 2010 | Comments (9)At this point, I feel like I’m making fun of this entire process. Perhaps I’m just trying to point out the absurdity of this marketing ploy — the releasing of a ten-second teaser that is teasing a teaser trailer which will go online tomorrow. It’s a little much, for any movie. The fact that it’s Twilight: Eclipse only makes it easier for the comment section below to get a little rowdy.
Brace Yourselves: The Twilight Saga: Eclipse Trailer is Coming
Movie News By Neil Miller on March 10, 2010 | Comments (9)There’s no easy way to go about this little piece of news — I’ll just come right out with it. Summit Entertainment has announced that the first trailer for Twilight: Eclipse will debut online on Thursday (March 11) at around 6:00a PST / 9:00a EST. The contents of this 90-second teaser are being kept under wraps until it debuts, but we can tell you this: it will include Edward (Robert Pattinson), Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Jacob (Taylor Lautner).
Twilight: Eclipse Trailer Coming in March, Insert Dirty Joke Here
Movie News By Neil Miller on February 19, 2010 | Comments (1)There’s a really dirty joke about teenage girls and soccer moms here somewhere, but I’m resisting out of respect for Twilight fans. In fact, I’ve long thought that their fandom should be commended.

Movie News By Neil Miller on February 12, 2010 | Comments (29)Listen up, Twilighters, because I’m only going to say this once. Nikki Finke has confirmed that the final book in Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series, “Breaking Dawn,” will be broken into two films.
Taylor Lautner and Stretch Armstrong: A Match Made in the Accounting Department
Movie News By Neil Miller on February 6, 2010 | Comments (101)Twilight star and all-around piece of meat Taylor Lautner has signed on to star in Universal’s upcoming toy-based film Stretch Armstrong, says Heat Vision. This 3D film will be made based on the line of Hasbro toys, and will likely make good money. Why? Because unlike his Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson, Lautner is seen as a bankable star.
Review: The Twilight Saga: New Moon
Movie Review By Neil Miller on November 20, 2009 | Comments (12)I was always taught that if you’re going to do something, you might as well do it right. I also know that fans of popular books deserve movies that honor their favorites, not drag them down. Sadly, Twilight: New Moon isn’t honoring anyone.

There’s also a bizarre discussion of where Somali Pirates might fit into one of this week’s movies… how does that all work? Listen and find out!
Remember Me Trailer: Maybe Robert Pattinson Can Act
Movie News By Neil Miller on November 19, 2009 | Comments (23)After seeing Twilight: New Moon last night at a press screening, I was unsure about many things. But of the things that I was sure about, one was that Robert Pattinson was not a good actor. Maybe I was wrong. Or… maybe not.
