Why Watch? This short is infamous for the tall tale of how it got made and the danger it represents. The story as I heard it was that Claude Lelouch had some film left over from another project and decided to strap a gyro-stabled camera to his car for a little joyride. The result is a high speed, POV drag through the streets of Paris early in the morning while a few other vehicles and pedestrians hustle to get out of the way. Plus, it’s a romance!
