We reported just yesterday morning that Marvel is preparing to shoot their next big comic book film Thor in January, with director Kenneth Branagh now ready to get the story of gods and warriors from another dimension underway. And with that has come a few last minute casting decisions.

As I stated in my review, if it is blood you want then Punisher: War Zone is where you’ll get it. And in this new TV spot, the violence comes spilling out onto your keyboard.

If it’s blood you want, it is blood you’re gonna get. For all its faults — and there are quite a few — Lexi Alexander’s Punisher: War Zone does certainly live up to its name. Or at least, the second part of its name.

Rome. Now there was a television series! HBO knocked it out of the ballpark with its lavish take on ancient Rome in those crazy days of the ascendancy of Julius Caesar, the battles between Mark Antony and Octavian, the man who would be Augustus during the glory days of Rome.
