It looks like Stephen Frears may be drawn again into the politely dry British style story that he’s been into lately with the adaptation of a comic book that’s a modern retelling of “Far From the Madding Crowd.” Or will Gemma Arterton spice things up?
In Greek mythology, the character Io (played by Gemma Arterton in the upcoming Clash of the Titans film) is a lover of Zues who is later turned into a cow. From here, we see no indication of cowness from Ms. Arterton.
The first footage from the new Prince of Persia movie can’t help but remind me of The Mummy. Which makes me think of Brendan Fraser. Which makes me think of School Ties. Which makes me realize I’ve never seen that movie all the way through thanks to sexual interruptions both times I tried watching it. Two different girls too. Thank you Mr. Fraser!
