SFotD: ‘The Last Human’ Plants a Sci-Fi Seed on an Alien World
Features By Scott Beggs on February 5, 2013 | Be the First To CommentWhy Watch? On the shore of a strange planet, the last living person struggles to complete a task that would see the species live on. With some keen special effects, The Last Human stands out as a somber, more reflective bit of alien technology, although a bulk of that consideration comes from location, location, location. With waves crashing on a rocky shore and steep cliffs beyond, the production chose a perfect place to shoot their surreal science fiction. It’s simple, no doubt, but there’s something calming in that simplicity, and while the plot is far from original, the style and execution speak loudly for themselves. What will it cost? Around 6 minutes. Skip Work. Watch More Short Films.
