There’s a great deal of news happening in the entertainment world today. Disney bought LucasFilm and it means more Star Wars. There’s new posters, new trailers and plenty of talk about horror movies as October comes to a close. But as you may notice, the response of news organizations such as this may be a little slower than usual as we all work to check in on our friends and families on the east coast. Beyond that, more than one-third of FSR’s readership lives in the area affected by Hurricane Sandy. These are our friends, our fellow movie-lovers. So we want to take a moment to encourage you to do your part. It’s simple: a donation of the cost of a movie ticket ($10-15) could make more of a difference than you’d think.
