One particularly interesting piece of foolish propaganda from yesterday’s April Fool’s rally was this poster for the yet to be scripted, yet untitled and wholly ambiguous concept that is the next Batman movie. It involves Neil Patrick Harris, so pay attention.

Mike Fleming over at Deadline is reporting that How I Met Your Mother star and all-around man of the people Neil Patrick Harris (NPH to his friends) has signed on to star alongside a bunch of little blue dudes in The Smurfs, the Raja Gosnell (Scooby-Doo) directed adaptation of the famous kids cartoon.

In spite of the fact almost nothing was screened for them this week, Kevin and Neil meet in the Magical Studio in the Sky to not talk about movies. It’s been a year of comebacks, so we decided to take a look at a few stars who’ve made it all the way back from the void and a few that haven’t.

I suppose you can say that the core Harold and Kumar audience of stoners and slackers will enjoy the rude humor and drug references, but the rest of us clean and sober folks are going to be left cold.

Neil Patrick Harris demands that you pay this game in some form. And who can argue with NPH? Surely not us mere mortals.

The fans of the cult classic Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle have waited four long years to see their favorite pothead heroes on the big screen again. [Grade: C+]
