Let me start by saying that I am not 100% sure that any of these posters are anything more than fan photoshop jobs, as none of them actually came directly from Warner Brothers. But despite their questionable origins, they all look pretty damn cool.

Damn this Wall-E movie — it is forcing me to use the word “cute” at every turn. How am I supposed to maintain my sense of masculinity if I am continually drawn to writing about this cute, cuddly, awesome looking film? It gives me a headache.

Indiana Jones has his own “Snickers Adventure Bar” and “Mint Crunch” M&Ms specially designed for the whip-slinging, hat-wearing adventurer. What, no “Snake Surprise” or “Monkey Brains” a la Temple of Doom?!

I’m not sure if you could consider this viral marketing, but for anyone who has no idea what The Spirit is, it certainly raises an eyebrow or two.

But before we get to the actual posters, allow me to say this: If you aren’t pumped for Tropic Thunder, there is something seriously wrong with you. This film is going to rock, and it is going to rock hard.

Happy April Fool’s Day, Dark Knight fans — as you may or may not have already seen, the Clown Travel Agency has updated its website and sent its crazy minions (all of you) on a wild goose chase or two, scouring the world for more clues as to where The Joker might make his next appearance.

Theater lobby displays are certainly nothing new. I remember way back in the day a number of Looney Tunes displays graced the floors of my local cineplex when Space Jam came out. According to /Film, Pixar’s Wall-E is the newest to add something to lobby charm.

Are you (the die hard fan) able to get over that fact and understand that your favorite characters might never have hit the big screen without a little promotional bump from a third-party? Hopefully you can, as Marvel’s upcoming film Iron Man seems to be another in the long line of car commercials turned action movies.

It is worth saying though, that you can’t take these lame teaser posters into account when you look at this film. Based on everything we’ve seen so far, I have the feeling that Get Smart is going to rock. Call it intuition, call it blind faith in director Peter Segal, call it whatever you want, but I have a good feeling about this film — and you should, too.

Ever since I took in the film at its world premiere at Sundance in January, I have been curious to see how a studio would market such a documentary. I guess, now we know — you take the subjects, who are a diverse group of high school students from Indiana, and you put them in context with a John Hughes movie.

If you’re a mugger waiting around Madison Square Garden for the occasional clueless tourist to wander by, you might have something new to reckon with. The ad wizards at Marvel have installed a six story tall Iron Man outside the building glaring down with that silver stare at would-be evil-doers.

Our friends over at Latino Review have gotten their hands on a new TV spot from Paramount’s big summer kickoff film Iron Man, which as you may have noticed is becoming one of the most highly anticipated films of the year.

Indiana Jones could be gracing the pages of the web again a lot sooner than we had thought — and he’s bringing his widget with him.

As the “Month of Funk” leading up to the release of Will Ferrell’s ‘Semi-Pro’ rolls on, the marketing for the film continues to get weirder and weirder.
