Why Watch? Baseball is at the heart of Mike Eisenberg‘s short film, but its life blood is the bond between family members and the hard reality of losing that bond. In it, Sam (Steffan Argus) has to come to grips with his grandfather’s death. Gorgeously shot on the Red MX, it’s not the kind of bombastic genre fare that usually gets notice. It’s contemplative and relies heavily on strong acting work and characters that mirror ourselves. Heavy in the right ways, this movie draws out emotion without leaving you empty.
