Neil and Kevin’s claws come out for Disaster Movie, the most accurately named film of the year. If only Peter Dinklage were in it, it might have been better than Postal.

Ask anyone on the web and they will tell you that nothing could be worse than an Uwe Boll movie. At this point, having seen Boll’s latest film Postal, I must disagree. There are worse out there — and their names are Friedberg and Seltzer.

With Comic-Con over and done, we want to take a moment to pause and look back, at the year so far. We do this in a format that we like to call “Ten Things We Liked, 5 Things We Didn’t.”

Hide the women and children because these movies will make you stupider just by watching them.

I’m still waiting for someone to make Ghetto Movie, which will star Jack Black as a young Hispanic man, just trying to make a life in the hoods of Orlando, Florida.

The only way to top this is if Uwe Boll titles his next film The Worst Movie Ever!

Directors Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer (Epic Movie, Meet the Spartans) are back at it again, already planning their next parody. So which movies will feel the wrath? Superbad along with this summer’s Hancock, Sex and the City, and The Love Guru are among the unfortunate victims, but will you be among the unfortunate viewers.

When that time comes, let’s pray archaeologists don’t excavate a 2 million year old Blockbuster… Such as Meet the Spartans.

Again — the best movie doesn’t always win the box office. Perfect example: Meet the Spartans.

This could easily have been called Epic Movie: Number Two. And when I say Number Two, I really mean this movie is number two.

This week we have ‘Spartans’, FBI Hackers and that John Rambo guy chasing down the Cloverfield Monster.

Alright people, when I first reported about the upcoming flick Meet the Spartans (originally called Hunting and Fishing), the parody of 300 being written and directed by Jason Friedberg (the brilliantish mind behind such classics as Epic Movie, Scary Movie and Spy Hard), I was only mildly annoyed. After seeing the trailer, I am now fully enraged.

Just in case you didn’t think that this weekend’s release The Comebacks was bad enough, here is another bad idea to keep your Netflix queue full of crappy flicks. Writer/Director Jason Friedberg (one of the 6 writers of each of the Scary Movie installments as well as the guy who helmed Epic Movie) is directing Meet the Spartans…
