Well, on this fine July day the big story here at the Reject Report is Eddie Murphy. Not because his new movie, Meet Dave, was a moneymaker at the box office. No, the story is how badly the thing tanked!

If you’re planning on seeing Meet Dave, you should only do so totally drunk.

Ultimately, the only way a sane person could enjoy this movie is if they deliberately give themselves lead poisoning over the course of years, slowly go insane and then catch it on DVD.

Kevin’s son Liam joins the Fat Guys as a special guest because he’s seen more movies this week than Neil has… but Neil still brags about seeing The Dark Knight already.

We have three new movies on tap at the local theaters this weekend –quite a change from previous weeks when we’d have only one or two big blockbusters rolling out to destroy all competition.

Watch out, Eddie Murphy, Robert Fure has had enough of your antics!

So sadly, it looks like Eddie Murphy hasn’t used up all of his credibility in Hollywood. Murphy will be pushing 50 when, according to Variety, he will attempt to reprise his role as Axel Foley from the popular Beverly Hills Cop films. I can just imagine Murphy standing in front of a mirror proclaiming, “If Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis and Harrison Ford can do it…So can I!”.

For every Iron Man, there is a Made of Honor. And this summer is going to be filled with crap as much as it will be filled with awesomeness. So, in an effort to protect the moviegoing public, here’s my cautionary list of eight summer movies that are sure to suck ass.

The first trailer has been released for the upcoming Eddie Murphy comedy Meet Dave, which stars Murphy as a guy who is really a craft of some kind, in which itty bitty people live and work. It is sort of like Innerspace, only not fun, creative or even remotely interesting.
