Kevin and Neil shake off the chick flick phenomenon from last week and decide to mess with the Zohan. They also test out their kung fu skills against Jack Black and company. Sadly, no one talks about Peter Dinklage at all, although Kevin did dream about him last night.

I just couldn’t resist doing a play on the title of Adam Sandler’s latest flick, You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, even though it looks like Kung Fu Panda will probably be the box office winner this week. But who knows?

While fans flock to theaters to see a man in a fedora and lots of Sex in a City, it might be easy to forget that a fun, well-animated family flick goes a long way during summer movie season.

There’s nothing like enjoying a pleasant family film full of laughs plastered off your ass. At least, that’s what I believe.

In order to get you ready for Kung Fu action, I have prepared a little gallery of photos that shows off some of the beautiful animation work from the team at Dreamworks Animation.

To get you all in the mood for Kung Fu, I have scored a few cool video clips from the film, which can be viewed inside.

First up in our “Kung Fu Preview”, which takes place the rest of this week, is a familiar tune that goes with anything Kung Fu. Jack Black and CeeLo punch and kick their way through “Kung Fu Fighting”, off the soundtrack for Kung Fu Panda.

Ben Stiller, Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr. scuffle over Tropic Thunder. And the two best things about this… 1) Jack Black doesn’t scat at all, and 2) they don’t even mention The Love Guru.

With the release of Kung Fu Panda later this week, we’re heading into the summer animation season. All this makes me reflect on some of my favorite computer animated characters over the years.

How do you get a big fat, lazy panda voiced by Jack Black to do all kinds of flips and get all kung fu-y on your ass? You take away his dumplings.

Jack Black continues to scat his way through a relatively entertaining movie career — this time he is doing it as a Panda who does Kung Fu. And badly, I might add.

For every Iron Man, there is a Made of Honor. And this summer is going to be filled with crap as much as it will be filled with awesomeness. So, in an effort to protect the moviegoing public, here’s my cautionary list of eight summer movies that are sure to suck ass.
