You may or may not know it, but the face of film-making is changing. With every word I type, more and more people are buying new cameras to shoot their films. For many, it will probably be their first film. For the rest, it will be their first film shot with a still camera. No, that was not a typo.

Our good friend Kent Nichols, one of the fine gentlemen responsible for the phenomenon known as Ask a Ninja, is a decision maker. He makes decisions all of the time. And this week, he decided that the world needed to revisit the world of The Blind Side, just in time for next year’s Oscar season to start heating up.

Announced over at KentNichols.com on Saturday was a contest where fans can submit videos to YouTube and possibly earn a role as an extra on the upcoming production.
