Iron Man 2

As May 7 draws closer, it is safe to assume that we’ll be writing more and more about Iron Man 2. Harrison Ford

It’s been a while since Harrison Ford has been a part of a truly entertaining movie… over a decade in fact. But if recent rumors and Twitter confirmations are true, Ford may just be appearing in one of the more fun-sounding films scheduled for release in 2011.

A flash of undeniable style. Hard-hitting wit and charisma. Samuel L. Jackson asking a man in a bright red, iron suit to exit a donut. Yes, it must be another promo spot for Iron Man 2, perhaps the most anticipated movie of 2010.

Iron Man 2

Paramount Pictures and Marvel Studios have released today the international theatrical poster for Iron Man 2, which is quickly approaching its release date. It’s hard to believe that it’s only about six weeks away at this point, but it is.

In a manner of speaking, it is perfectly acceptable for someone like Tony Stark to upstage the Oscar ceremonies — it fits with his modus operandi perfectly. And while I will accept the fact that Tony Stark is a fictional character played by Robert Downey Jr. and the Academy Awards are very (mostly) real, the assessment still stands: this brand new Iron Man 2 trailer, which debuted on Jimmy Kimmel Live this evening, is far more exciting than the Oscars.
